MOTMate UK provides a free interface to look up MOT history and vehicle tax status for UK registered vehicles, using data from the DVSA and DVLA. The service is provided “as is” and depends on the availability and accuracy of those upstream APIs.

3. No affiliation

MOTMate UK is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the DVSA, DVLA, Department for Transport, or any UK government body.

4. Accuracy of information

We display data as returned by official APIs and do not modify it. We do not guarantee that the data is complete, current or error-free. Always verify critical information (such as MOT expiry or tax status) using official GOV.UK services before relying on it.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to harass, defraud, or harm any person
• Do not scrape, automate, or attempt to bypass rate limits
• Do not attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the service
• Only look up vehicle registrations you have a legitimate reason to check
